The Tumor Board

We wanted to share with you some amazing information we found out at Travis' doctor's appointment last week. Travis' case was presented before a tumor board. This is where many top doctors at MDAnderson sit and conference over current cases. Not all cases are presented before this board, but we are thankful that Travis' was. During the conference they discussed the pathology results and treatment options for Travis. It is really an honor to have Travis' case on a tumor board because you are receiving 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions. We think that being on the tumor board has also allowed us to have the best doctors placed as Travis' physicians. (Praise God!)
