Going the Distance

As of Friday, February 29th Travis is halfway through his radiation treatments. Hooray! Overall his spirit is good. He is beginning to lose some of his hair in patchy places, which is a little upsetting, but Dr. Mahajan had said this would be a side effect. He still has some nausea and little appetite, but we are learning about many different ways to deal and control how he feels. We praise God for carrying us through this far and want you to know that we still appreciate your prayers and encouragement.

half way through,*S*
My prayers continue for you all.

"Paul reckoned his great trial to be a gift. It is well put. He does not say, "there was inflictedon me a thorn in the flesh", but "there was given to me". This is holy reckoning. Child of God, among all the goods of your house, you have not one single article that is a better token of divine love to you than your daily cross." Charles Spurgeon (2 Cor 12:7)

A cross you bear, for all to see how you are bearing it with the greatest of humility and a testimony to share with others Travis.

God Bless,
Cristina

Hold on to 2Chronicles 20: 15-17
...."Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's."
Travis - you are a mighty warrior!
